So, things are moving on now. We’ve had a really good response already from people and local businesses wanting to support the Beast.
We’ve had Cotswold outdoors, Carmarthen support again this year…..even before I got in touch with them! This year as well as giving the excellent spot prizes and bags for the goody bags, they’re also giving the male and female winner of each distance a pair of Salomon Speedcross trainers!!! How awesome is that. 😉 Thank you guys!
New in? Etts Electrical services have jumped straight in and are going to sponsor the race numbers!!! Not only that, they want to sponsor the Preseli Beast M60, and F55; Beast Bach M50, and F45; and the Ultrabeast M50 and F45 trophies!!!!! Thank you Ian, Etts Electrical. 😉
Princes Gate Water also want to donate bottles of water to goody bags for all you thirsty runners after your….. Beast taming!!
Cor Harmo-ni are sponsoring the slate coasters again. Diolch Pawb. 😉
Whilst having a quick look through Trail magazine, I happened to see that the Preseli Beast event was in the diary in the ‘Must-do races of 2015’! And whilst looking through the Frontrunner brochure(company who deals in running related matters) I happened to see that they’d printed in last years Beast Bach trophies!
Talking of trophies, Clychau Clochog have already got ahead of everyone else and have already sponsored the Male and Female OM/OF 1st, 2nd and 3rd trophies for the Preseli Beast race.
Electric Safe Wales have agreed to Sponsor the 1st & 2nd local Male prizes in each distance! Thank you Richard. 😉 And this is before I’ve managed to get the sponsorship letters out!
Ivor Rees & sons electrical are sponsoring the UltrabeasT Open Male, and Open Female trophies.
If you’re local to Pembrokeshire then keep your eyes peeled for the Beast roadside signs which are dotted around various parts of North Pembrokeshire. 😉 Entries continue to come in, and the links below will hopefully show the stats to date. 😉 We currently only have 8 brave souls tackling the Ultra Beast, with the second female entry arriving today! So it’s all shaping up to be a healthy field. If your details aren’t quite how they should be, then please get in touch.
Now for the updated list of potential Beast tamers!!!
We’ll be sorting out the T-shirt designs soon, and are quite excited about what they’re going to look like this year. The Ultrabeast design has had a makeover!! He’s got bigger teeth, and got hairier!!! And that’s just the start of it??? A few of us went for a UltrabeasT loop reccie last Sunday in all that wind, and it turned out to be epic! It turns out that the extra loop is going to be an extra 8 miles, not 7!!! Well, what’s an extra mile between friends eh! Oh well, you get more for your entry fee I suppose!!! 😉
